The Vertigo Globe with antique oceans is a 15-inch illuminated floor standing globe featuring political landmass mapping and classic antique ocean styling's with 1,000's of up-to-date geographic points of reference, boarders & topographical features. When illuminated the internally located light enhances the cartographic features making many of them stand out and easier to read, along with exposing some cartographic features such as old ship routes not seen when illumination is off.

This globe is mounted on a beautiful modern styled single polished metal post stand with hardwood base featuring an inclination mount that will enable you to rotate the globe left or right. Whether identifying places of travel or current events, this globe makes an excellent functional decor piece for any for home, office or library with its clear & easy to read cartography.

The cord exits the globe at the base and includes an inline switch to easily turn the globe on and off. Easy to change light bulb (instructions included). Overall assembled size is 47"h x 15"w x 15"d.

At first I didn't know how this globe would fit into my office space but I liked the design. When I received it (came 2 boxes globe and stand) it was easy to assemble about 3 min and it looks great. The base and stand are fairly heavy together so when you are turning the globe it wont fall over. You would have to knock it pretty hard for it to tip. Shop got it to me fast.
