Illuminated Globe February 22, 2018 Reviewer: Al from Palatine, IL United States   I really like my 12 in. illuminated globe. I read many travel books (mostly sailing) and the globe gives extra dimension to the stories. It lets me follow the story in a more visual way and gives the story more perspective. Best globe I ever owned! April 9, 2013 Reviewer: Grandpa Jack   This globe comes with illumination and when you turn the light on you see different patterns than when it is off, and it has raised mountains which are great. I placed it on my desk in my den at home and it fits and looks great. Of course you need to have an outlet handy. Good value for the price. Was this review helpful?

Great Christmas Gift December 11, 2012 Reviewer: AMR   My six year old loves his new globe. He's really into looking at countries and capitals, but the raised profile of the mountains and the arrows in the oceans representing the currents has him interested in new facets of geography now as well.
